The Staff at BAB Radiology
Paul Bonheim, M.D., F.A.C.R. has been with BAB Radiology since 1975. Today, Dr. Bonheim provides professional services at Commack and Amityville. Prior to joining BAB Radiology he was the Chief of Radiology Services at Department of Veterans Affairs in Northport, New York. Dr. Bonheim's attended Pennsylvania State University, and completed his Fellowship Training at the Chicago Medical School. His internships and externships were completed at Beth Israel Hospital in Brookline, and Nassau County Medical Center-where he was Chief Resident. He is board certified in Radiology, and holds teaching appointments at the State University of NY at Stony Brook, Nassau Community College and The DVA Medical Center in Northport.
Jeffrey Warhit, M.D.,D.A.B.R. joined BAB Radiology in 1983. Prior to joining BAB Radiology Dr. Warhit graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brooklyn College, and completed his medical school training at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Both his internships and externships where completed at St. Joseph's Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and his Radiology residency was completed at New York University Hospital. Dr. Warhit completed a Ultrasound and CT fellowship at North Shore University Hospital as well in 1983. Dr. Warhit is board certified and holds appointments at the American College of Radiology Ultrasound Accreditation Committee. He is board-certified in Radiology. Dr. Warhit provides professional services in Commack and Amityville.
Philip Beuchert, M.D., D.A.B.R. is a graduate of the Albany Medical College. He completed his diagnostic Radiology Residency at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola New York. His Body Imaging Fellowship was completed at Stony Book University Hospital in Stony Brook, New York. Dr. Beuchert is the Radiation Safety Officer for BAB Radiology, has been with BAB Radiology since 1999 and is board certified in diagnostic Radiology.
Stuart Katz, M.D.,D.A.B.R. is a graduate of Cornell University Medical College in Valhalla, New York. Dr. Katz completed his residency at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and his internship at Children’s Hospital in Boston. He completed a Fellowship in Angiography and Interventional Radiology and while at the New England Deaconess Hospital he completed a Fellowship in Ultrasound and CT. Dr. Katz has been with BAB Radiology since 2001 and is board certified in diagnostic Radiology.
Joel D. Reiter, M.D., D.A.B.R. is a graduate of New York Medical College. He completed his diagnostic radiology residency at North Shore University Hospital, in Manhasset, NY, where he also was selected and served as Chief Resident. He completed a body imaging fellowship at Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook. He has served on the attending staff of both Stony Brook University Hospital as well as Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Reiter is board certified in diagnostic radiology and has been in radiology private practice on Long Island for many years, and subsequently joined BAB Radiology in the latter part of 2009.
